The World's second largest peak K-2

K-2, the world's 2nd highest mountain at 28,251 feet in Himalayas on the border between Pakistan and China, is located in Baltistan.  K-2 is the highest point in the Himalayan range and in Pakistan. K-2 is known as savage mountain due to extreme difficulty of ascent and the second highest fatality rate. One person out of every four who attempted to climb it have died. It is difficult to climb from Chinese side, thus is usually climbed from Pakistani side. K-2 has never been climbed during winter time.
